About Me
I am a journalist with experience writing across news, features, reviews and interviews for student and local publications, seeking to expand my skills in new professional environments. Serving as the features editor for Nouse, the University of York's student paper, I am skilled in writing long-form analytical journalism as well as editing, pitching and running social media accounts. I am excited about the prospect of working in any area of journalism but am particularly passionate and adept at writing about arts and culture topics and exploring the intersections between media and popular culture with broader social and political issues, as reflected in my writing. I have recently graduated with a BA in English and History and am pursuing an MA in Magazine Journalism from City St George's University in September.
